Scott was once an ordinary human, not particularly fond of his mortal shell. He stumbled upon some art of a pretty creature made of latex, and soon began researching how he might become one himself. One research lab nearby was looking for patients for an experimental procedure...

• They aren't a real avali, just a creature in the shape of one. Still 6' tall, does best in warm temperatures, no ammonia in their blood, etc.
• They opted to keep their former human internals in service. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
• They can mildly shapeshift or turn into a goopy substance, but they prefer to stay solid.

Rubber avali are an open species, if you love them I'm not going to gatekeep it from you!
My only request is you change their color for visual differentiation.
